Wayfinding and site signage installed at Pemberton and Whistler Healthcare Centres, including building signs, parking signs, and emergency entrance decals.

We recently partnered with Vancouver Coastal Health to enhance the wayfinding and exterior signage at both the Pemberton and Whistler Healthcare Centres.

Our scope included a variety of sign types designed to improve navigation and accessibility for patients, visitors, and staff:

Freestanding Site Signs: Fabricated using durable aluminum composite panels (ACP) with printed graphics. These were mounted with robust aluminum frames and posts set directly into the ground, while one larger sign was securely installed on two concrete bases.
Parking Lot Signs: Printed on high-visibility reflective vinyl and mounted on aluminum faces. Depending on location and need, these signs were either installed on single posts, attached to existing light poles, or mounted as larger freestanding signs on double posts.
Exterior Building Signs: Clear, highly visible signage installed directly on exterior walls or suspended from ceilings to assist both staff and visitors.
Window Decals: Custom emergency entrance decals strategically placed on windows and doors to guide people quickly and effectively in urgent situations.

By combining practical design with durable materials, these new signs help create a safer, more welcoming, and easier-to-navigate environment at both healthcare centres.
